Byron Learning Centres’ method was developed to help children build a strong foundation in learning and foster self-confidence to last a lifetime.

Each BLC program begins with a free assessment.  Our teacher recognized assessment tools help us gain an understanding of your child’s learning strengths, as well as areas in need of further development.  The assessment also allows your child to get to know our staff and begin to feel comfortable.  Using the assessment results, our Education Director develops an individual program to help each student master important learning skills.

Students begin with work that can be easily completed as they become familiar with our program materials.  Because of this immediate success, your child’s self confidence will improve.  Students often come to us frustrated with school.  We help minimize this frustration, allowing students to feel good about learning and improving motivation.

Our teachers are facilitators to learning.  Their goal is to guide our students to become active, rather than passive learners.  It is this unique process that allows your child to gain the independent learning skills necessary for continued success in school.
